1.how can I help to improve the waste situation on the event site?

Please use the existing trash receptacles on the event site and try to reduce or avoid trash.

2.are there barrier-free accesses and facilities on the event site?

Yes, the area next to the viewing platform of the Rheinkavalier bastion at Pegelhaus on Konrad-Adenauer-Ufer is reserved for wheelchair users and mobility-impaired persons with an accompanying person. Not all areas of the event can be arranged to be handicapped/wheelchair accessible, for which we ask for your understanding. Handicapped accessible toilets are available at various sanitary areas in the event area.

3.do I have to pay for admission to the Koblenz Summer Festival?

No, admission to the Koblenz Summer Festival is free. However, please note that admission to certain areas may be limited on event days.

4.are there first aid stations on the event grounds?

Yes, there will be first aid stations on the grounds. In case of emergency, you can reach the emergency services by calling 112.

5.are there special offers for families during the Koblenz Summer Festival?

Yes, the Koblenz Summer Festival has many offers especially for children and young people. On Saturday and Sunday, the popular water festival for families will take place in the Yellow Area in the area of the water playground behind the Deutsches Eck.

6.will the event be accompanied by photographs and video?

Yes, the event will be accompanied photographically and by video for public relations purposes. By attending the Koblenz Summer Festival, visitors agree that their footage may be published on various media and output channels.

7.where can I turn in lost or found items?

8.where can I get a map of the grounds and a program booklet?

You can download the site plan and the program booklet. The program booklet for the Koblenz Summer Festival is also available at the Tourist Information Office and during the event at every stand as well as at the Info Point.

9.what is the best way to reach and park at the event site?

Arrival and departure by public transport is recommended. In addition, the Park & Ride service provided as part of the Koblenz Summer Festival will take all motorists from the designated parking areas at the city limits to Koblenz Altstadt. Detailed information on how to get there and back can be found here.

After the end of the fireworks on Saturday, a large rush is expected on the buses and trains that run immediately afterwards. To equalize the program has been extended until 00.00, many booths will be open until 02.00 both Friday and Saturday night. Enjoy the exuberant atmosphere at the Koblenz Summer Festival even after the fireworks and take advantage of the extended local transport services until late!

11.are certain areas on the event grounds off-limits?

Please note that this year, due to extensive construction work, the event area ends at the Pfaffendorf Bridge on Stresemannstraße. The castle steps are no longer part of the event area and are not accessible.

In addition, some areas, such as the Balduin Bridge and the harbor pier in Ehrenbreitstein, are closed at certain times for safety reasons.

12.is there a capacity limit for some areas on the event site?

Yes, a maximum permissible visitor limit has been set for Deutsche Eck. If there is a risk of overcrowding, our security staff will close the entrances concerned. This may result in extended waiting times.

13.is there any information about security during the Koblenz Summer Festival?

Yes, the security concept is regularly discussed and adjusted with all security forces involved.

14.where can I get tourist information and take part in public tours?

Our staff at the Tourist Information Office at Forum Confluentes will be happy to advise you on tourist questions. We offer public guided tours for our guests. You can find more information here.

In addition, there is an information point in the event area, which will be staffed on Friday from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., on Saturday from 4 p.m. to midnight, and on Sunday from 12 noon to 5 p.m.

15.will the event area be under video surveillance?

Yes, for security reasons, video cameras are installed at several locations in the event area.
